Services for Children
The Public Guardian and Trustee is official guardian under the Children’s Act and has the exclusive right to determine whether a child requires separate representation by a lawyer or lay person in order to protect the rights and interests of the minor child until the age of 19. The Public Guardian and Trustee acts as the Trustee of estates of minor children and invests funds for children under the age of 19.
